If you are an Adsense Publisher, then in the course of time there might be a scary situation wherein, you see in your Adsense reports that there were “Adsense Clicks” without paying off anything to you. When you see that, you may wonder what’s wrong with my Adsense ads? Why no earnings? Lots of questions may shoot up in your mind. The primary fear being “Banned from Adsense“.

In 75% of the cases, these problem can be fixed easily without your interventions. Personally, I’ve observed some of them on my account as well.

TOP 7 REASONS FOR “ADSENSE CLICKS BUT NO EARNINGS”:

1. INVALID CLICKS:

In most of the cases Adsense ad monitoring machines feels that the click was from an invalid source. If that is the case, you may not be paid anything. Google never discloses the algorithms, methods and ways of their monitoring mechanisms to normal humans. Only the Google smarties know about it and they just say “invalid clicks” buddy and you have to accept it.
Invalid clicks can be dangerous!!!!

REASONS FOR INVALID CLICKS:

>> Someone was placing a click bomb on your website due to enmity.

>> A double click by someone.

>> Someone clicking from the IP address you use.

>> Someone clicked accidentally on your ads

>> You yourself clicked on your ads.

>> Someone clicked on your ads as soon as landing on the page.

>> Some reasons are never known, only Google knows why it was an Invalid click.

>> Clicks from a paid traffic source.

>> Clicks from an untrusted referral.

HOW TO AVOID INVALID CLICKS:

>> Google says that it is your responsibility to see that invalid clicks and unusual activity doesn’t happen on your website. That is because, it is your house where you have rented Google for the ads. It is the house owner responsibility to check for unusual clicks. Report for huge invalid clicks to Adsense using this form.

>> Check for invalid clicks everyday at least once. So that you can report the same to Adsense.

>> Using monitoring tools for your website like Google Analytics and Statcounter. Use the “Allowed Sites” feature on your Adsense account. That is explained in the next point.

>> Try not to browse your own website too frequently. Avoid clicking on your ads.

>> Don’t ask others to click on your ads.

2. ALLOWED SITE FEATURE ON ADSENSE ACCOUNT:

Some people don’t using this feature. Some use it and use it unknowingly.
If you are using it for the first time, then here are is the correct explanation of how to use it:

>> Placing the sites under “Allowed sites” section will let Adsense know that these are the trusted sites where ads are visible and can be counted upon.

>> Removing the sites from “Allowed sites” section will still make the ads visible on your sites, but clicks are not counted. This option is used when there is a click bomb on your site.

If you are already using this feature on your Adsense account. Check that whether the site URLs are in the “Allowed sites” section so that the clicks don’t go missed.

3. PUBLIC SERVICE ADS SERVED FOR YOUR SITE:

This is the third reason when you don’t accumulate any money even after a clicks.
Public Service Ads(PSA) are served when Adsense don’t have any ads relevant for your website.
These ads are displayed only if you have selected so while creating the ads. It is better to have PSA ads than having an empty space. It makes the blog look better. More over, it this is not going to harm your Adsense account.
There are three options while setting up ads initially. You can either show PSA ads, Blank space or any other ads from some other URL.

4. CPM ADS BEING SERVED AND NOT PPC:

CPM – Cost Per 1000 Impressions (Pay Per Impressions)
PPC – Pay Per Click.
The abbreviations itself says the fact what we mean by CPM ads are served rather than PPC.
If CPM ads are served, then you get money for every 1000 impressions or impression ratio set by the advertisers. Otherwise, you get for every click(PPC).
Eg:-
Say the advertiser has set as 10 cents for every 1000 impressions. Then, if someone clicks on these ads, you are not paid. But, lets say there was 100 impressions on it, then you will be paid 1cent.

5. MORE ADS ON A SINGLE PAGE:

Adsense policy clearly says that you can have upto 3 text/rich/image ads + 3 link ads + 2 search boxes per page. If you have more than that, probably there is a chance that clicks are not registered.

6. DELAY IN EARNING UPDATION:

There are cases, where the clicks are registered and shown on your account, but no earnings instantly. The earnings may show up after some time. This is a case where Google analyses the clicks whether if the clicks were fraudulent and finally they pay off after they find it is genuine. If you see sometimes that there were clicks, please be patient until there is an updation on your account.

7. YOU ARE BEING BANNED!!!

This is the final reason which is the most scariest and most dangerous. Sometimes, you may see hell a lot of clicks on your ads in a short period of time, and then Google issues a ban over your account later. If that is the case, the clicks may not be counted for anything. This is a rare phenomenon, so you may not always worry upon this reason. It is always better to alert the Google Adsense team as quickly as possible if you see any change in malicious traffics to your site leading to huge amount of clicks.

Well, if you have a website that talks about any product that can be found on Amazon, then Amazon associates could work for you. Amazon allows you to put dynamic image ads to your blog, so that you can promote them and while this isn’t a Pay-per-click or CPM program, it will pay you a small commission for everything they sell from your links. So let’s say you have a blog about Apple products and you put an ad driving them to buy an iPod or just a cable. If they buy it, an small commission will be for you. So if you sell a $10 cable you might receive a few cents, but sell a $1500 Laptop and you might receive $100. The good thing is that everything they buy through your link (even if it isn’t the product you recommended at first) will generate a commission for your. the only con I find with Amazon, is that they need to send you a check that could take weeks to arrive to your home, unless you live in the United Stated of America where you can provide your Bank account. Yllix is a network I have heard a lot in the last years that has a decent CPM and many monetization options. Their homepage might look simple but their dashboard is great and it’s easy to get started. This is a great alternative for those working with viral websites (read my case study) or sites that already have a lot of traffic. There are some other similar networks but I think Tribal Fusion is one of the best.

5. Infolinks

Infolinks is a Pay per click advertisement network that allows you to make money through your blog based on specific keywords. Infolinks indexes your pages and automatically add some hiperlinks in your text. Of course, since this isn’t a CPM program, it might take you a while to start earning a regular passive income through it, but it’s still an alternative to Adsense. They can pay you via Paypal, Wire Transfer, Check Western Union, ACH and Payoneer and there’s an initial limit of $50. What Is AdSense: It’s a monetization program by Google for online content from websites,

Let’s Make $100 Everyday With Google AdSense, Right?

For the convenience of calculation we assume that – You serve your AdSense ads on your

blog or website, irrespective of showing your ads on your mobile site and added the site

search results with AdSense.

Your CTR is 1% and your average CPC is $0.25. It’s quite achievable and lots of bloggers

usually get it. We also assume that Page View = Ad Impression for easy calculation. You

can manipulate the parameters on your own for desired results.

To make $100 everyday you need 40,000 Page Views/day Or, 400 Clicks a day @ 1% CTR and $0.25 CPC. For 40,000 Page Views you have to produce 500 awesome articles or blog posts which attract at least 80 or more page views/article everyday.

Apart from CPC, you will also earn from your CPM ad impressions. Irrespective of any niche, the average CPM earning is $1 to $1.5 per 1,000 impressions. You can make $40 to $60 per day easily from 40,000 page views.

You can also sell your Ad space directly or via BuySellAds.com and generate $6,000 Per Month on an average from 40,000 page views. How to Earn 10 Dollars Per Day from Adsense in 2015

Most of the bloggers try Google Adsense as one of the first money making program in their career. For some, still it works good and remain as their main income source, including me. It is really a great, hassle free and solid CPC (Cost Per Click) money making program you can try without any issues. Unfortunately it’s not so easy now and it’s not working as how it used to work 5 years ago. Things have changed, readers are smart enough to know which one is advertisement and which one is your link. If really they do not have interest and intention to click ads, as bloggers we do not have much option and control. Making 10 dollars daily from Adsense should be the first target for any new bloggers to achieve. Here I discuss and show you how to make 10 dollars per day from Adsense

There are specific requirements I will be suggesting below based on my 6 years experience with Google Adsense. I’m not going to say how to create a website to make 10 dollars per day or how to select the topic for that. I’m going to say what are the requirements to make 10 dollars per day from your existing blog (or even the new blog you are going to start) from Google Adsense.

You must be say ‘Wow’ by now, that’s right. 1 click brings more than 10$, it is from my Google analytics dashboard. That indicates Google Adsense still works and there are high potential topics/keywords in the market which can bring higher CPC earnings. So your task should be very easy in making 10$ per day from Adsense.

This is the power of Google Adsense. Your blog’s topic and traffic source country play major roles in the Adsense earnings, I will be covering them below.

Understand The Terms

There are few measurements in Google Adsense, like CTR (Click Through Rate), CPC ( Cost Per Click) and RPM( Revenue per Thousand impressions). CTR and CPC are individual factor while RPM is a collective measurement. That means, if you are getting good CPC and CTR, you will have a good RPM. In other case if you have a good CPC but very bad CTR, then the RPM will be less. So, RPM is the ultimate factor to see whether your blog is doing good with Google Adsense ( of course you must consider increasing the CPC and CTR all the time which will directly increase the RPM).

So, what is RPM? it means how much money your blog is making from 1000 page views .

If you are making 8$ from 2000 Page views daily, then your RPM is 4$ ( 8 x 1000/2000). We will be connecting the RPM and discuss how to make 10 dollars from Adsense below. The RPM can be different for each type of blog, for example, technology, news, entertainment, free stuff, financing and education etc.… blogs will have different RPM ( because the CPC and CTR would be different for each blogs).

I would say 3.5$ RPM is reasonable and you should target more than that. If you are making 2 to 3 $ RPM, then you should spend more time to increase the RPM to 3.5$ or more dollars.

The Math to Earn 10 Dollars per Day from Adsense

So, if we assume 3.5$ RPM, you will make 3.5$ from every 1000 Page views daily. To get 10$ per day from Adsense , let us multiply this by 3 (even though it will reach 10.50$) to get 10$ round figure per day. That means, your blog has to generate 3000 page views per day to make 10$ per day from Google Adsense.

Is it a difficult job to make 3000 page views per day?…It will look tough for any new bloggers and even for the old bloggers who are struggling generate the good traffic for their blogs.

Let me break down the 3000 Page Views per day like below,

30 articles on your blog which can generate 100 PVs per day
60 articles which can generate 50 PVs per day
120 articles which can generate 25 PVs per day.

Do you think article numbers are increasing, then how about this?

15 articles which can generate 200 PVs per day,
OR just 3 killer articles which can generate 1000 PVs per day.

It’ your decision to target a suitable scenario for you.

At the end we need genuine 3000 page views daily to make 10 dollars per day from Google Adsense assuming the RPM is 3.5$ and very importantly your blog is meeting following requirements.

Other Factors to Decide on How to Earn 10 Dollars per Day from Adsense

1) Your niche and keywords are very important.

Your blog should have high or reasonably paying keywords. Though we can’t say what is the best CPC amount, but I would say you should make sure your average CPC is higher than 0.25$. If you are targeting higher CPC keywords, then this rate will be higher so the RPM too. In my experience anything related to ‘Free’ will not bring good CPC.

You do not need to start a blog or straightaway target these keywords to increase the Adsense CPC ( it is very tough actually), but you can get an idea which topic can bring good CPC to make 10 dollars from Adsense per day by seeing above image.

Google adwords keyword planner is another free resource to find out the CPC of your relevant keyword. I have already published a guide in below link, highly recommended to read this post.

2) Your blog may require around 2100 PVs via search engines daily.

Organic traffic is very important to make money from Adsense. Assuming the average search engine traffic for a blog should be somewhere around 70%. So out of our required 3000 PVs per day, the 70% is 2100 PVs.

You must make sure around 70% of your daily traffic is coming via search engines. Because these are the users new for your blog and may click yours ads.

3) Use above the fold ad placement

No matter how many ads you are using in your blog, make sure at least one ad is placed above the fold. ‘Above the fold’ is the place a visitor sees without scrolling down in internet browser. I think the ads with 300×250 or 336×260 size below the head line and above (or wrapped by) the content works better for higher CTR and RPM.

Google serves high paying ads to the ad slot which is loading first in a blog. So, make sure to utilize this ad slot well to earn your 10 dollars daily from Adsense.

4) Geographical Traffic Source is Very Important

Even if your blog is meeting above all requirements, but not getting the readers from specific countries (where normally CPC and Adsense ads are different and highly targeted), then the CPC will be less and your intention to make 10$ per day would not be achieved. Clicks from some countries, like USA, Canada, UK, Australia pay much higher than other south Asian countries. So, even if your blog is getting 3000 PVs from Google daily, but the majority of traffic is coming from south Asian countries, then I doubt you will get the 3.5$ RPM rate.

So, target a topic which can attract all readers from around the world.

2100 daily visits via search engines can be different for each blog depending on the content, ad placement and niche/keyword selection. If you have high paying keywords and getting good search engine traffic from around the world ( mainly USA), then may be two or three clicks will be enough to earn 10 dollars daily.

Whatever I have mentioned here is just an estimate to understand the requirement to make 10 dollars per day from Adsense.
